COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 23, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) Twin premature newborn boys died at an Ohio hospital last year while staff stood by refusing to give them medical assistance, a pro-life group is reporting, and the hospital classified the boys deaths as stillbirth.
Both boys were born alive at 22 weeks and 5 days gestational age at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, according to the report.
The first born, Emery, survived for 45 minutes. His younger brother, Elliot, lived for two and a half hours, even crying, and his mother, Amanda, begged for help to no avail.
Alarming footage released today by Created Equal shows both boys just after their births.
Amanda is shown in the video beseeching in the case of Emery, You guys are going to save him, right? Promise me theyre going to save him.
Amanda then says, Look at him, please save him.
Amanda is shown holding and speaking to her newborn boys in the video.
Later in the video, she tells Elliot, Mommy tried, Mommy tried.

Which came first - the chicken or the egg? IOW - is the survival rate so low because the babies are so underdeveloped they can't survive or is it low because they make the assumption, as these doctors did, that the babies will die and don't even bother to try to save them?
Where did this concept of “free” hospitals come from?
no
Murder.
Do you have some kind of "God" complex? I repeat my question - is the survival rate so low because the babies are too underdeveloped or is it because, like YOU, it is assumed they won't survive so they don't even try. And, I might add, console a burning conscience by contending any such attempt would be torture.
The worst thing about this is that they did not even try. That is unforgivable.
It always amazes me when people post what they want to believe without bothering to do a simple google search.

I found quite a few instances of babies being normal after being born extremely early.
Well my, my, my. Wouldn't John and Charles Wesley be proud. NOT!
Sue not just the hospital. Personally sue each individual who was on duty at that time. Personally sue them for wrongful death.
Are you normally an asshole?
Praise God Indeed!
I’m fairly far removed from when I used to keep up with this, but my understanding is that before the babies reach a certain size, equipment and physics are the main problems. Catheters have to be too small for meds or liquids to flow through, Breathing tubes small enough to fit can’t deliver volumes of oxygenated air needed.
It’s going to take major advances, not just sizing down of equipment to cross that 24-25 week threshold, I think.

My cousin’s twin boys were born at the same age as these guys were. They’re 12 now and both play hockey. It was a rough start, but they’re doing well.
Tie them over ant hills.
Get ropes.
The is the inevitable result of the culture endorsing the murder of babies between conception and birth.
If we go by the math, a lot of people should die.
Who should die depends on who is in charge of the math.
I don't know. Maybe. Do you know?
Are you kidding. Do you remember the child in London that they would not let the parents take out of the country and just let him die!!!!
I meant no offense.
I’m sorry for the loss of your child.
