I’ve long held the opinion that this selection was NOT inspired by the Holy Spirit.

While I do not pretend to understand its significance, I have said since the beginning of Francis pontificate I DO believe IT IS significant Benedict is still alive.

I thought the other guy was supposed to be OK until somehow they forced him out and put in Papa Frankie. The other fellow was lucky they didn't kill him.

I have heard church officials imply that Soros and Obama were behind Benedict’s stepping down and Francis election. However, there is a paucity of proof of this that I’ve found.

How is the election of a Marxist Pope somehow in furtherance of a Lutheran reform?

I’m a confessional Lutheran.

Frank is not Lutheran.

Not saying he is Catholic either, but maybe Episcopal (low church), or ELCA.

The monsignor should read some of Luther’s books.

As soon as I knew his origin country, his religious order, and his new name, I knew it was orchestrated.

The way Frankie works is to get his prog-buds to speak for him, to have meetings that are entirely controlled by him thereby marginalizing all the conservatives. With his enemies on the sideline, he merely nods his head in the direction of his buds who are working to tear down the Church.

Why does he do this? He doesn't want to be seen as the guy dismantling the Church. So, he makes sure he makes it look like the Magisterium is making all the changes.

How quaint.

As I understand it, Red Frankie was the runner-up when Ratzinger was elected.

I have no doubt in my mind this is correct.
The people who did it had an agenda, which is not our agenda.

I shall always have my Faith.

I need, neither a building, nor a pope.

And in time a Holy Man will come and restore sanity. As I said, I will always have my Faith.

Francis Was Elected To Carry Out a Lutheran Reform

BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Luther wanted to get the Catholic church back to its roots, just like the current people opposed to the current pope.

For his efforts, the Catholic church ex-communicated him.

Which is what I see coming down the road for all those who oppose Francis.

I guess that answers the question once for all that the Holy Spirit does NOT guide the college of cardinals in the selection of the new pope.

Why would ANYONE want to be in a church whose leadership is not guided and led by the Holy Spirit?

Destroying the church was a key pillar in Obama's plan for America and the free world. I'm convinced that Obama was behind this... he likely used the NSA/CIA to get dirt on many in the Vatican (probably a simple task) and he ushered in an evil new pope to take over.

Obama, like Hillary, used dirt on people to control them and events. Its a very effective tool, and he had the world's best resources at his disposal to carry that out.

I think they wanted to elect someone who was European but not European. An Italian from Argentina checks both boxes.

The conclave wanted to appear to embrace the "Third World" without actually doing so.

Maybe they also wanted someone who would appear to be charismatic and a modernizer and didn't look very closely at what they were actually getting.

The rest of the link:

Evil and Heretical Theologians Have Conquered the Power

Monsignor Livi points out that a known heretic like Cardinal Kasper was chosen by Pope Francis as the main inspirator for the Synod of the Family. For Livi this is an other indication that Francis’ election was a big set-up which will eventually lead to the recognition of Luther and to the creation of a Mass without consecration. According to Livi this revolution was already planned in the early sixties. The last fifty years were marked by the activity of -quote – “evil and heretical” theologians in order to conquer power. Quote, “Now they have conquered it.”

Oops, Monsignor Livi seems to have missed the boat by about 50 years. "This revolution" wasn't "already planned" in the early sixties. It was already planned prior to the early sixties and implemented and promulgated by the late sixties. You see, he is actually part of the revolution.
