The LifeSite petition in support of Alfie Evans has been signed by just over 47,000 persons as of the time of writing. Today, LifeSite sent an urgent message to all signers with action items that might potentially save Alfie's life at this very critical time. Following is the text of the email:

Email British Prime Minister Theresa May demanding that Alfie - now a citizen of Italy - be released to allow for transfer to the Italian hospital which has offered him care.
Email and call (020 7219 6813) the UK Health Minister Jeremy Hunt
Email the UK General Medical Council so that they understand how bad all this is making the UK Health system look.
Other readers of the email may also wish to participate in these very urgent action items.

I tweeted some to American leaders too. President Trump, McConnell, Ryan, the GOP, the Democrats, Nancy Pelosi. It’s not like they don’t know what’s going on.
The petition to the Queen now has 235,000 signatures, when it was at 112,000 yesterday evening. I know the limitations of the Queen, but I think it’s more the point of attention and pressure and people getting involved.

Seventy three years ago,next Monday, on April 30 when I was born, my parents were told by doctors that I was wrongful life and should be allowed to die.
Like Alfie’s parents, my parents sought help for me but they were free to get it and I survived.
Now, after earning three degrees, raising four children, and having a successful professional career, I am asking you to help Alfie’s parents try to save his life. I do not know whether the physicians at Jesu Bambino can help Alfie nor even if he can be saved at all but his parents should be able to try. After all, the doctors didn’t think Alfie could breathe on his own and they do not even have a diagnosis.
Please allow Alfie’s parents to seek help in Italy. It is the civilized thing to do.
