However, there is no New Testament support for the Roman Catholic claim of "baptism of desire."
Baptism is not what saves you. Belief in Christ is what saves a person. Baptism is the outward confirmation of what has happened in a person.
If not, Cornelius was not saved nor was the thief on the cross or the woman at the well nor a whole host of people.
Whatever happened to *one Lord, one faith, ONE baptism*?
Now the Catholic church has invented many more not even alluded to in Scripture.
