I doubt it, I put the number of your specific brand as high as eight but so far only five have come forward to admit it.

The consecrated host has been scientifically examined and determined to be heart muscle that was stressed and the blood type AB.

When and where and where is the link to said report?

An altar is not a cross and no blood does not equal blood and Jesus offered up Himself, men did not offer Him as a sacrifice to God to appease Him for our sins.

It is not the same sacrifice.

Besides, human sacrifice and eating of blood is strictly prohibited by God throughout Scripture.

Not surprising......

1 Corinthians 2:14-16 The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” Be we have the mind of Christ.

Typical.

Catholicism takes out the second one about not making images and bowing down to them and splits the last one into two.

We former Catholics have told them that and been accused of lying. Now we see it for ourselves.

Yes understanding the teachings of Jesus and the Apostles that have been passed down by the Church that Jesus founded and the Holy Spirit protects is more informative than a few that follow their own interpretation and ignore the words of Jesus.

Catholics can only hope that all will seek the Truth and accept the Truth and not try to change the teachings of Jesus to fit their needs and wants based on the protestant teachings and doctrines.

Logical fallacy: Argument by repetition.

You ever gonna try to prove him wrong instead of just repeating the same thing over and over?

I mean, seriously, I believe in the Real Presence in Holy Communion, but at least I argue from Scripture instead of the ‘WE WUZ FIRST!!!!!@’ argument.

You have yet to show any proof that Catholics follow the genuine teaching of Jesus and the Apostles in any way.

Show your work.

You and your six five friends may think so but you are delusional as to the number of folks that hold your unique point of view. Certainly in your tiny world of sycophants the sane man must appear insane however unfortunately for you the opposite is not true in the real word. Did you ever consider that just because Danial1212 says he knows "more" than the vast majority of Roman Catholics it's only because he is 180° out from reality.

Once again, infantile habitual recourse to ad hominem against those who refute you (whether you comprehend this or not) is a poor excuse for an actual argument.

That was supposed to be a refute? I apologize, it just seemed like gibberish to me.

Once again, resorting to your solitary profession of incomprehension is a poor excuse for an argument.

Don't eat the blood, the life is in the blood

Genesis 9:4 But you shall not eat flesh with its life , that is, its blood.

Leviticus 3:17 It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, in all your dwelling places, that you eat neither fat nor blood.”

Leviticus 7:26-27 Moreover, you shall eat no blood whatever, whether of fowl or of animal, in any of your dwelling places. Whoever eats any blood, that person shall be cut off from his people.”

Leviticus 17:10-14 “If any one of the house of Israel or of the strangers who sojourn among them eats any blood, I will set my face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from among his people. For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it for you on the altar to make atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that makes atonement by the life. Therefore I have said to the people of Israel, No person among you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger who sojourns among you eat blood.

“Any one also of the people of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn among them, who takes in hunting any beast or bird that may be eaten shall pour out its blood and cover it with earth. For the life of every creature is its blood: its blood is its life. Therefore I have said to the people of Israel, You shall not eat the blood of any creature, for the life of every creature is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.

Leviticus 19:26 “You shall not eat any flesh with the blood in it. You shall not interpret omens or tell fortunes.

Deuteronomy 12:16 Only you shall not eat the blood ; you shall pour it out on the earth like water.

Deuteronomy 12:23 Only be sure that you do not eat the blood, for the blood is the life , and you shall not eat the life with the flesh.

Deuteronomy 15:23 Only you shall not eat its blood; you shall pour it out on the ground like water.

Acts 15:12-29 And all the assembly fell silent, and they listened to Barnabas and Paul as they related what signs and wonders God had done through them among the Gentiles. After they finished speaking, James replied, “Brothers, listen to me. Simeon has related how God first visited the Gentiles, to take from them a people for his name. And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written,

“‘After this I will return, and I will rebuild the tent of David that has fallen; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will restore it, that the remnant of mankind may seek the Lord, and all the Gentiles who are called by my name, says the Lord, who makes these things known from of old.’

Therefore my judgment is that we should not trouble those of the Gentiles who turn to God, but should write to them to abstain from the things polluted by idols, and from sexual immorality, and from what has been strangled, and from blood. For from ancient generations Moses has had in every city those who proclaim him, for he is read every Sabbath in the synagogues.”

Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole church, to choose men from among them and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They sent Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, leading men among the brothers, with the following letter:

“The brothers, both the apostles and the elders, to the brothers who are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia, greetings. Since we have heard that some persons have gone out from us and troubled you with words, unsettling your minds, although we gave them no instructions, it has seemed good to us, having come to one accord, to choose men and send them to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have therefore sent Judas and Silas, who themselves will tell you the same things by word of mouth. For it has seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay on you no greater burden than these requirements: that you abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. Farewell.”

Dude.

Are you trying to actually convince anyone, or are you just trying to snootily look down your nose at people? Calling someone stupid for not agreeing with you is what a leftist would do.

There’s sufficient Scripture in regards to Jesus being truly present in the Lord’s Supper that you could easily use, but you seem intent on just insulting people.

The words had too many syllables for the small catholic mind.

It makes for an excuse in any case, while then we have RCs who vainly try to argue that the conversion of intellectuals is a testimony to the validity of RC doctrine.

Just what are those traditions Paul was referring to that he handed down that we are to keep that were not included in Scripture?

How do you know?

How do you know they’re from the apostles, Paul in particular?

How do you know they’ve been passed down faithfully?

Show us where Paul says that tradition trumps Scripture.

What “oral tradition” do you keep that is not found in scripture but that you can prove the apostles taught?

What is your source for verifying all of the above?

Please provide the sources for verification purposes.

You did see where Paul wrote the following explaining the purpose of the Lord's Supper...

26For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes. 1 Cor 11:26 NASB

He did not say it was to appropriate Christ or to come to Him.

It is to proclaim the Lord's death until He comes again.

2605 kataggéllō (from 2596 /katá, "according to, down to a point," intensifying aggellō, "declare, announce") – properly, exactly, decisively announce; to herald (proclaim) a message in a definite (binding) way.

Jesus does not live in the euchairst or any object or thing. He lives in believers.

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy and you are that temple.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

I don't eat Jesus to get Him in me. I repent and turn to Him an am born again, given the Holy Spirit by whom I am sealed until the day when God finishes the redemption of me, that is, I die.

The Holy Spirit is the guarantee of my inheritance in Christ, IOW, my place in heaven. He is God's promise to me that I am saved and will stay saved.

1 Corinthians 1:4-8 I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you were enriched in him in all speech and all knowledge—even as the testimony about Christ was confirmed among you—so that you are not lacking in any gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 1:21-22 And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

2 Corinthians 5:4-8 For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened—not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.

So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

Ephesians 1:13-14 In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritanceuntil we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.

Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Philippians 1:6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

Colossians 1:13-14 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Colossians 2:13-14 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.

Colossians 3:3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

1 Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Hebrews 6:17-20 So when God desired to show more convincingly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable character of his purpose, he guaranteed it with an oath, so that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us. We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain, where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.

Jude v24 "Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy"

1 John 5:13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life.

2 Corinthians 1:21-22 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

For which the Greek, from the Byzantine, is:

2Corinthians 1:21-22 ο δε βεβαιων ημας συν υμιν εις χριστον και χρισας ημας θεος ο και σφραγισαμενος ημας και δους τον αρραβωνα του πνευματος εν ταις καρδιαις ημων

The first word in bold above is “bebaion,” the idea of confirmation, frequently used in commercial settings to confirm a bargain. Which of course makes sense of the remaining terms used here, which are also elements of a secured contract.

The second word in bold above is “sphragisamenos,” being sealed is to be marked by the signature, signet ring, or other unique proof of identity, that we belong to God, and this sealing is done by God, who is the one taking action in this verse. We do not and cannot seal ourselves. We do not, by our own powers, have access to God’s “signet ring.”

The third bolded word above is “arrabona,” and indicates what we might loosely refer to as earnest money, but in Hebrew culture conveys more the idea of a pledge of covenant, a security given as a guarantee that the deal will go through, though we only receive part payment at the beginning. See ערב for the related Hebrew stem indicating “pledge.”

The thing is that the prohibition against blood is almost entirely in the Old Testament, most of it being part of the levitical laws that Jesus fulfilled.

Indeed, in Mark 7, Jesus declared all foods clean.

And as we can see in 1 Corinthians 8, one of the other prohibitions in the Acts letter—food sacrificed to idols—is not a sin in itself because idols do not actually exist. But Paul says that while it would not be a sin in and of itself, offending your brother who may have weaker faith IS a sin.

Looking into the history of Roman cultic worship/popular religion, strangled meat and food sacrificed to idols and blood were all very popular there. So of course the Apostles would want these new Christians to distance themselves from those practices. Don’t just throw Jesus onto the pile of other gods, but be Christian, a new creation.

Kind of the same way that just showing up to watch a Mormon worship service wouldn’t be a sin, but if someone saw you going into the building, they might get a very bad impression.

Anyways, of course Catholics have transubstantiation wrong, because Jesus refers to drinking the fruit of the vine. But at the same time, Paul says that to take the Lord’s Supper unworthily is to sin against the body AND blood of the Lord—so we know he’s not talking about the body of Christ in the sense of the congregation of believers. (Which is why I believe in the Lutheran understanding of all four being present.)

(And you see, this is the difference between you and me and several of the various FRomans on this thread. I at least bring up counterpoints without namecalling!)
