But there is not one true church as you claim. And the actual first church was not the ancient Catholic Church but was the Church of Jerusalem, administered by Jesus’ brother James, established long before there was a church in Rome. Just read Acts, it’s there in black and white.

Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

Acts, Catholic chapter nine, Protestant verse thirty one,
as authorized, but not authored, by King James,

Interlinear Text Analysis
    ἐκκλησία καθ’ ὅλης
  1. ἐκκλησία = churches
  2. καθ’ = throughout
  3. ὅλης = all

We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.

Friend, even the Catholic Church acknowledges that the first Christian Church was in Jerusalem. Hate to burst your bubble:

“Jerusalem was the first center of the church, according to the Book of Acts, and according to the Catholic Encyclopedia: the location of “the first Christian church”.[8] The apostles lived and taught there for some time after Pentecost.[9] Jesus’ brother James was a leader in the church, and his other kinsmen likely held leadership positions in the surrounding area.”

FYI, even Christians quote the Apostles Creed, just without the capital C in catholic.
