I have a friend who lived as a lesbian for 50 years.
Went to visit my Mom and this woman walks up gives me a hug like she knows me and a kiss on the cheek.
I was stunned.
This was a friend I hadn’t seen a couple years. She lost all her weight, quit drinking and drugs and is reborn.
She looks back at all the wasted energy, unnecessary anger, etc and wonders how she ever got that crazy.
She discovers men and dates frequently.
She is way happier and doesn’t deal with the drama of her former “Community”.
That’s wonderful for her. It’s a behavior that can be changed if the person really wants to.
