Hawking believed (falsely) that death was akin to a computer shutting down, and there was no soul, and no afterlife. He was wrong. There is an afterlife. How one spends eternity is dictated by a decision that is profound, powerful, and all encompassing: do you accept Christ as your Savior?

Hawking rejected Him. Now, sadly and awfully for Hawking, he knows all too well that there is an afterlife, and that God is very real. But Hawking’s eternal destiny is in Hell, apart from God.

Exactly, SkyPilot.

For it is written:

“As I live, says the LORD,
Every knee shall bow to Me,
And every tongue shall confess to God. (Romans 14:11)
