I find it very hard to blieve that 5% of Stanford graduates got this simple riddle.
Took about 1 min. For me, 2and 3 were the key. I could see atheists, who is ALL Stanford will accept, could have difficulty with it.
Five percent, eh? I foresee thousands of parents demanding refunds, and thousands of young college grads working in the food service industry.
Got it after the first two. The rest just confirmed it.
Figured it out on question two. Woohoo!
I keep scratching my head but I’m getting nothing here...
Got nothing after a couple minutes.
Of course, if the first descriptor was a 9 letter word then those with a less traditional viewpoint would answer...
Too easy. I got a better one:
You’re on a boat floating in a pond. A lead weight is in the bottom of the boat. You throw it overboard.
Does the water level of the pond (at the shore) rise, fall, or stay the same?
Poor folks have cell phones. Wealthy folks need a serious wake-up call.

The following riddle is claimed to have been written by Einstein as a boy. It’s also sometimes attributed to Lewis Carrol, although there’s no evidence that either of them actually wrote it. Either way, it’s fiendishly clever and is popularly called “Einstein’s Riddle”. It’s rumored that only 2% of the world can solve it.
See if you can figure it out:

Why does the porridge bird lay his leg in the air?
“What has it got in it’s pockets, Precious?!?!”
