I wasn’t trying to go into Paul’s entire history previous to the Antioch launch. Just pointing out God’s witness to others besides the ones to be ordained. Paul didn’t know exactly what God had in mind when he arrived in Damascus, but Ananias did, before Paul showed up.

Paul and Barnabas were already ordained ministers of the Lord. Antioch was where they were ordained for a new mission field.

But nowadays (well,... nothing new under the sun) people that were never called attain a position, and ordain just about anybody.

Yep, maybe ministers must be more scarce than I thought.
