I was getting ready for Christmas when a retired and feeble woman living near us who (like me) worked in NYC for some time, lamented the fact that she can't find any menorah candles. I worked a little magic, and a friend of mine in the NYC area just provided me with a box of candles. I can't tell you how happy I feel, knowing that before the evening I'll be giving the box to my retired friend.
