If you were to read the "book of mormon," would that make you a mormon?
Other arguments do not impress me.
Acts 26:24
At this point Festus interrupted Paul's defense. "You are out of your mind, Paul!" he shouted. "Your great learning is driving you insane."
And once again simply quoting the "new testament" supposedly proves everything.
I certainly prefer Protestants to the ancient liturgical churches, but you folks don't have any reason for believing the Protestant bible. You just do. It is the fundamental ground for everything else. You only believe in G-d because it tells you to.
Jews believe in the Bible because G-d told them to.
> Why do chrstians think that the “new testament” is self-validating? Why do they think that quoting it “proves” its validity? Why do they think that if Jews simply read it, they’d automatically believe it and become chrstians (chas vechalilah!)?
I have no idea.
As Yeshua revealed in Matthew 7:21-23, faith is the keeping of the commandments.
The revealing of Yeshua spoken of in 2Thessalonians 1:7 will be a frightful event for those that dismissed his commandments, as he plainly said in Matthew 7:23
“And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
You can't just pick the verses that sound like they can be turned into inheritable lies wherein there is no profit.
The word is all of the word.

>> “I’d think that GOD would be more worried about the Fruit produced.” <<
In this case the fruit is Iniquity!

The part that is described?
Yes. The Tzit tzit have great purpose.
Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who is yoshke? They might be in Heaven, since none of us know their hearts. 😇
But based on your criteria, if they have lived the way you claim they must, then they aren’t.
But who are you to judge another person’s soul?
Did God appoint you judge, jury, and executioner?
Did He give you all knowledge of all things that you can state that as a certainty?
> Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who is yoshke? They might be in Heaven, since none of us know their hearts.
Jesus is yoshke. It is possible. But not very likely.
I make no apologies for hating jesus and paul. If one convinces others to serve him as an idol, he is guilty of a capital sin.
And yet; you seem to have NO problem, pulling bits and pieces out of the OT and then claiming that proves anything!
HMMMmmm...
This?
Romans 1:17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed-a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."

Oh??
Matthew 7:21-23
"Not everyone who says to me, 'LORD, LORD,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Many will say to me on that day, 'LORD, LORD, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?'
Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
I wonder...
...just what IS the 'will' of the Father??
Interesting qualifier.
Well bro, it seems like we have some disagreement in the house. I make no apologies for loving Paul, and for considering that Jesus Christ, is none other than what He claimed to be, the spotless Son of God, the creator of Heaven and earth. I also lead others toward Him. If I am guilty of a capital sin, I can live with that, and I wonder who will be the one to enforce that capital sin?
Anyway, in light of the claims that Jesus made about himself, one has two choices, not 3 or 4. One can either think He was a deluded fruitcake, about the same as one who claims he is a fried egg. There simply is no middle ground. Either Jesus Christ is a demented liar, or He is exactly who He said he is. He is the same I AM, who appeared to Moses in the burning bush. He told Moses, tell them I AM has sent you.
He said several things worth noting. He said the men of Nineveh will rise in judgement over this generation, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah. The Queen of Sheba will rise in judgement over this generation, for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth, to hear the wisdom of Solomon. Men and women will come from everywhere on earth, including Grand Forks, North Dakota, and sit down and eat bread in the Kingdom of God, with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, together with I AM, while the children of Israel are cast into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Jesus saved his most virulent criticism, for the religious leaders of the day, you know, the ones who were keeping the Law of Moses. Isnt that somewhat similar to what you do? He called them whited sepulchres, full of dead mens bones. He called them a brood of vipers, the blind leading the blind. No wonder they hated Him.
Anyway bro, you have two choices, accept Him for what He claimed to be, or face Him, as I AM at the great white throne judgement. I am pretty sure you will reject I AM, but remember, I AM (Jesus Christ) will say to the goats, depart from me ye cursed, into the lake of fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. You remember him, right, Lucifer, who tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden.
Look bro, you believe whatever your little heart desires, but you OWN it. If you are right, everything will be ok. If you are wrong........
Your sins are not forgiven without the shedding of blood.
Preach it, brother! +1
[21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
[22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
[23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
We all know that iniquity is the state of being without Torah.
The will of the Father is that we all live as did his Son, in step with Torah.
John affirms this in his first epistle, where he also defines sin as the transgression of Torah.
Keep on trying to create your own religion.
