As Yeshua revealed in Matthew 7:21-23, faith is the keeping of the commandments.
The revealing of Yeshua spoken of in 2Thessalonians 1:7 will be a frightful event for those that dismissed his commandments, as he plainly said in Matthew 7:23
“And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
You can't just pick the verses that sound like they can be turned into inheritable lies wherein there is no profit.

Many will say to me on that day, 'LORD, LORD, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?'
Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

...just what IS the 'will' of the Father??
