Considering that your version of chrstianity is a fifteen hundred year later reconstruction of something that never existed, and that during those fifteen hundred years actual historical chrstians were living as monks and hermits and performing post-Biblical chrstian rituals (and living in a constant fear of dying and going to hell despite being chrstians), you're not really the best apologist for the religion.

Chrstianity is like evolution; everything "proves it." So you're not saying much. Also, considering you think that the "new testament's" interpretation of the Hebrew Bible is "self-evidently true," your threshold for "proof" is, again, very low.
Methinks that your use or *conservative Christian* is not what others use is.
Does God call water baptism, in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, a work? Or does man call it a work?
