Nothing the Catholic Church teaches contradicts Holy Scripture.

Bwahahaha!

You also need to read Scripture about Pentecost. Nothing says it was a closed room. The apostles were part of a group of 120 who were meeting in the house and the entire house was filled and ALL the people there were baptized in with the Holy Spirit and they all began to speak in tongues. That includes the mother of Jesus.

Imagine that. Mary spoke in tongues.....

Mary was THERE?

It sure looks like it!!!

1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.
2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.
All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[a] as the Spirit enabled them.
Acts 2:1-4
