Will the Church ever straighten itself out?

It is still the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, and I will stay with it as long as I can go to Mass and receive the Sacraments. I’m not going to let the heretics and kooks drive me away.

But it is horrible how many people have left the Church since Vatican II. Our local church has dropped from three masses on Sunday to one, and the church is more than half empty. I pray for the Church and for those who have left in discouragement.

Don’t let Francis and the liberals have their way and drive faithful Catholics out.

When we moved to Long Island in 94 at Mass in our new parish my wife and I were in the lower 50% of the Sunday congregants. 23 years later I am still in the lower half on Sundays, though I am collecting SSS now. The biggest mistake in America nade by the Church was not trying harder to maintain its school and depending on Religious Ed to take their place. In far too many places Religious Ed, that one hour a week, is simply getting a permission slip for a Church wedding.
