be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil

and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host,

Neither was any believer in Scripture taught or shown to pray to anyone else in Heaven but the Lord, despite over 200 prayers the Holy Spirit recorded for us as examples and instruction.

Hint: the same guy that promulgated Vatican II and abolished the Oath Against Modernism.
