Mary is in heaven. She is alive there. And she intercedes for us if only we ask.

Nobody’s worshipping her, or “supplicating her deific deliverance.”. They are asking for her prayers. Just as I might ask for my own Mom to pray for me.

These are called “ intercessory prayers”. We are all very much encouraged to pray for one another, because we love one another.

The whole ensemble of loving people praying for each other is called the “Communion of Saints.”

I wonder how many Cuban troops are ‘assisting’ Maduro’s thugs?

When has a Pope done much for South America anyway?

Central and South America remains corrupt and under the thumbs of the usual suspects... and their military goons and crooked courts.

Mary lives with Jesus and all the blessed in heaven.

Therefore she is not dead. Ask Jesus.

Matthew 22:32

Why pray to a dead human instead of God?

She can’t hear you. She was just a human, just like you.

Only Jesus can intercede.

“Mary is dead. Try Jesus.”

Jesus said God is the god of the LIVING. Mary died in Christ which means she’s alive in Christ. That’s how it works.

And if you hate the Church so much, why do you appear on every thread relating to it?

Hate? Every?

Perhaps you would like to show my participation on the last
five threads about "the church".. since I'm on "every" one.

Thanks in advance for your kind verification of your hyperbolic statement.

“She can’t hear you. She was just a human, just like you.”

That doesn’t mean she can’t hear me. We will judge fallen angels (1 Corinthians 6:3) - not on our own merits but on those of Christ. And through those same merits the saints can hear and intercede for us.

“Only Jesus can intercede.”

On His own merits, yes, but through His merits all of us can intercede for one another. https://www.openbible.info/topics/praying_for_each_other

No,that’s not true. I intercede for you. If you would be do kind as to pray for me, you would be interceding for me.

James 5:16-18 says we should intercede for each other, and that the prayers of a righteous man are very powerful. The same goes for a righteous woman.

Please pray for me.

Do you kneel before a picture of your mom or grandparents and light a candle while praying to them?

.
Why don’t they pray to Yehova?

He can do something about their plight; Mary cannot. (Neither can the “Mary” spirit that is a facet of Satan)

Satan has answered their prayers to “Mary” with corrupt tyrannical governance.

What if a million people in the world pray to Mary at the same time? Can she hear all of the at once? Are you saying she is omniscient or omnipresent like God?

Can Mary do a hit on the Pope from the grave?

Praying to the Virgin Mary is like praying to any other mortal human being. Try praying to Jesus or God.

Pictures of my late father Edward, my late mother Wynne, and my Great-Aunt Clara (who raised my Mother) as well as my friends Nita and Billy and their daughter Mary Katherine and our way-back pro-life Presbyterian pastor friend Joe Foreman, still living on this earth, are in our Prayer Corner along with icons of angels and saints and Our Lord Jesus Christ, Our God and Savior of all.

And we do have candles. And upon occasion, incense!

So, yeah.

Like I said, the whole ensemble of loving people praying for each other is called the “Communion of Saints “.

Except, in the Orthodox or Byzantine style, we usually stand and bow (instead of kneel.)
