A Christian church in the U.S. is causing outrage after leadership officials changed up their typical Sunday service — and began performing Muslim rituals which included praying to Allah. This makes me sick!
It was a typical Sunday morning service, until a Muslim began leading church attendees in a prayer to the Islamic deity.
The Presbyterian church in Portland, Oregon, began lifting up prayers to Allah at its general assembly meeting as a part of the “first order of business.”
“Allah bless us and bless our families and bless our Lord. Lead us on the straight path — the path of all prophets: Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad.” *snip* In addition to the prayer, church leadership projected the following text during the morning service:
In the Name of Allah, the beneficent, the merciful: let us praise the Lord of the Universe who has created us and made us into tribes and nations that we may know each other, not that we may despise each other. Incline towards peace, and trust in God, for the Lord is one that hears and knows all things. And the servants of the God Most Gracious are those who walk on Earth in humility and when we address them, we say, “Peace.” Amen!

Early in my Christian walk, upon reading or hearing Matthew 18:8b, I was bewildered that it could get that bad. Christ speaking, “When the Son of man returns, will He find faith on the Earth.” This story about the insanity in Oregon clears it up a bit.

I believe the False Prophet will use this “doctrine” - this LIE during the Great Tribulation.
Can’t prove it - so now it’s just my speculation.
But two things ARE for certain - 1) it is a lie and 2) a damnable heresy.
Those who believe what that “church” professes are heading for Hell. Jesus says, “No one comes to the Father but through me.”
The whole of Portland, OR, is lost. I have family there. Trust me, there is no point.......their catchphrase is ‘keep Portland weird’.
Heard about this last Sunday in Sun. School class. Former Presbyterian was disgusted. Spoke of how blind those in the former Presbyterian church are. Discussion was about false prophets and teachings.

No, it wasn’t a PCUSA church.
It was the denomination’s general assembly. Which probably would have been clear if there was a link to the source http://www1.cbn.com/cbnnews/2016/june/mainline-christian-denomination-praying-to-allah instead of trying to drive hits to a blog.
Of course, then we would have also seen that the story was over a year old instead of the date given here. (Date on original story 06-29-2016).
By the way, the blogger is also a liar. It wasn’t a “typical Sunday morning service”. As I noted, it was the General Assembly (the opening session, not a worship service).

Sunday service or not doesn’t matter , the date it happened doesn’t matter either.
The fact is that this a church that calls itself a Christian church and church allowed a muslim to lead prayer in to a false God that is anti Christ is all that matters about this story and why it is important to share to warn others.
Islam is a direct attack on Christianity , everything about Islam is the exact opposite.
