No, I just thought that a Protestant describing the Bible as “the book [Rome] assembled,” which seems a bit disdainful, was very odd.

I find that some of Rome's followers; who claim we would not even HAVE the Book if it hadn't been for Rome; to be a bit; shall we say; arrogant and boastful.

You say they “claim” there would be no Bible were it not for the Catholic Church. Why would you use the word “claim” as if there some doubt as to where the Bible came from?
