"Catholics Will Have to Decide Whether They Guard the Faith Over Papolatry"
Gloria TV ^ | July 17, 2017 | Gloria TV

“Francis is more interested in leftwing politics than in Catholic theology”, George Neumayr, contributing editor of The American Spectator, states talking to Tom Woods on July 14th on tomwoods.com. Woods describes Francis as a result of John Paul II who - as he puts it - appointed "absolutely terrible people" as bishops: "Catholics have suffered under Bergoglios for decades now”.

Neumayr agrees that a lot of the liberal bishops were appointed by John Paul II and Benedict XVI. He sees Francis as the “culmination of a century” of liberalism and modernism in the Church.

For him it is "highly unlikely" that Francis, who in his theology is “more a Protestant than a Catholic” will convert to Catholicism. Instead, the realistic scenario is that Francis will produce division and chaos, "Catholics will have to decide whether they guard the faith over papolatry.”

And: “The Cardinals have to declare that Francis is a bad pope who must be resisted.”

Since Christ didn’t say this in Scripture and no Apostle taught this in Scripture, what evidence can you share to support this truth claim?

Why the Catch-all; of course!!

John 21:25
Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.

Under this blanket; the OTC has slipped all kinds of things into it's version of Christianity; saying, "Well; God could have done it. Who are YOU to say that HE didn't??"

I thought that the Priest had to forgive your sins: venial or mortal.

You were wrong. Only Mortal Sins need to be forgiven in Confession since Venial Sins do not separate us from God. I would suggest you study Catholic teaching before you criticize it.

Just exposing hypocrisy when I see it.

Good for you!

I like to illuminate deception when I find it.

Catholics don’t presume the Assumption; they understand it to be dogma.

Your source, however, is joke. If the Assumption of Mary is step toward equating Her to Christ, why does the same article not assert that the assumption of Enoch and Elijah also equate them with Christ?

Just another example of hypocrisy.

Catholics have never looked for the Blessed Mother's tomb; they know She was assumed, body and soul, into Heaven. We celebrate that Feast Day on August 15th.

And just HOW did you guys ACQUIRE that 'knowledge'?

Sounds so very similar to the Mormonic hocus pocus about "another testament of Christ."

Have you considered that the brown scapula is equivalent to the mormon magic underoos?

It's not squirrel season yet. If you don't want to answer the question - Have you any evidence of this ‘retaining’ even being applied? - then don't.

No need to ask ME two MORE barely related questions about what the Bible says.

Do you not believe the words of Scripture?

There you go again!

When you can't or WON'T even attempt to answer a simple request; you try to get me off of the subject that YOU appear to want to avoid.

...can you post the LIST of these sins that the RCC has discovered...

How does Rome WARN it's members of these things if there is no LIST to be seen and taught?

Not so much wrong; as ignorant.

I have NO idea what constitutes an M sin from a V one; and apparently Rome does NOT teach it's members; either.

Therefore; to suggest that I 'study Catholic teaching' would send me on a fool's errand.

It will get me nowhere.

Just another example of hypocrisy.

Nah; just a logical fallacy that lies at Rome's doorstep.

What the Roman Catholic cannot refute they ridicule. But, as noted previously...the Roman Catholic is usually the first to get personal and/or resort to profanity when the argument goes against them.

Why doesn't the article assert the assumption of Enoch and Elijah equate them with Christ?

Because Christianity does not call them Co-Redemptrix, Mediatrix, Advocatrix.

Nor does Christianity build shrines to them.

Nor does Christianity pray to them.

Nor does Christianity rely upon them for salvation.

Nor does Christianity sanction the building of idols of them to bow before them and light candles before them.

Because Christianity does not have schools offering degrees in Enochology or Elijahology as Roman Catholicism does with Mariology.

Just for starters as there is much, much more.

Since the authority of retaining sin occurs within Confession, which is under the seal, their can be no public evidence. But I can say that the priests today exercise this authority just as it was clearly given in the Bible. Do you have any evidence that this authority that the Bible says was given to the Apostles was latter taken away?
