Francis is more interested in leftwing politics than in Catholic theology, George Neumayr, contributing editor of The American Spectator, states talking to Tom Woods on July 14th on tomwoods.com. Woods describes Francis as a result of John Paul II who - as he puts it - appointed "absolutely terrible people" as bishops: "Catholics have suffered under Bergoglios for decades now.
Neumayr agrees that a lot of the liberal bishops were appointed by John Paul II and Benedict XVI. He sees Francis as the culmination of a century of liberalism and modernism in the Church.
For him it is "highly unlikely" that Francis, who in his theology is more a Protestant than a Catholic will convert to Catholicism. Instead, the realistic scenario is that Francis will produce division and chaos, "Catholics will have to decide whether they guard the faith over papolatry.
And: The Cardinals have to declare that Francis is a bad pope who must be resisted.
Peace be with you! : )
Your memory is good enough so that after the soon to happen Rapture, perhaps you will remember how your little cultis master has deceived you and call upon the Lord. Maybe ...
This “commandment” is to love one’s brother, not the Mosaic Law. Unlike the Mosaic Law, which God established on Mount Sinai, the commandment to love one’s brother is eternal and predates Sinai. Thus when Cain killed Abel he sinned and broke this commandment even though “thou shalt not kill” had yet to be engraved on the stone tablets at Sinai.

That much we can agree on! More or less. Large swaths of the Mosiac law were for a specific time and place and specifically for the purpose of foreshadowing Jesus, in particular the systems of circumcision, cleanliness and uncleanliness,, and Temple sacrifices.
I would argue that the Ten Commandments are part of Mosaic Law, but also part of natural law—the kind that Paul says is written on the heart, or at least that’s what I mean when I write it. YMMV on definitions.
Whatever the case, it’s very important to teach and live the commandment of love. I may not believe that I can earn salvation from it, but love is the natural result of salvation—and it’s something we should practice to keep the ‘old man’ in check until Jesus returns anyways.

You wanted an essay?
Nah, there’s been plenty enough written on these three verses.

Rapture fairy tales are for the adversary’s lieutenants.
Do you really want to go there?
.
>> “Thus when Cain killed Abel he sinned and broke this commandment even though thou shalt not kill had yet to be engraved on the stone tablets at Sinai.” <<
It is obvious to even the most cursory reader of Genesis that all the commandments had to have been related to Adam.
How did Abel know a flesh and blood sacrifice was necessary?
How did Noah know which animals were clean or unclean?
.
.
More ignorant, deceptive, “have you stopped beating your wife?” falsehood!
Its so foolish to even pretend that you believe such bare faced lies.
Where do you get that kind of rhetorical excrement?
Don’t you feel like you need a shower after posting like that?
.
.
The presence of the Holy Spirit is overwhelming in Michael Rood’s ministry.
It is one of just a very few ministries that have actual revelations for Yeshua’s sheep.
The forever unsavable “Grace” cultists are so full of ignorant and false accusations of Yehova’s sent teachers!
The reek of burning sulfur!
.
.
Every commandment is part of the covenant; that is the whole point. How can this get by you so easily?
The commandments are what will produce the “people for his name.” (literally the purpose of creation)
.
The Apostle Paul had some very specific words for what people who demand conformity to the Judaic law for salvation should do to themselves.
I’m sure you’re familiar with his letter to the Galatians, the 5th chapter, the 12th verse.
Thy credibility is in the negatives.
Rood being a cultist and non-Christian, I doubt the Holy Spirit is involved in anything he does.
I do hope the Holy Spirit leads him to Christ.
Given that this is at least his second cult involvement, it seems questionable.
You can call it poopy and lies and foolish all you want - maybe YOU are the one who needs a shower? - but the funny thing is you STILL refuse to answer simple questions. Why is that?
.
The “new covenant” is the old covenant rewritten in our hearts.
Absolutely nothing has been added, nor removed. It is also with the same Kehillah, the two houses of Israel, not with the imaginary church that the adversary added in the 4th century.
.
.
Do you really not get it???
I do not participate in furthering the ministry of the adversary, who is the author of the falsehood and absurdity that you keep posting.
Give it a rest!
Which Holy Spirit, ES? The third person of the ONE Triune God or the "Holy Spirit" which is not a personal being?
Asserting that the person who wrote the article about Michael Rood's background and his teachings is ALL absurd falsehood from the "adversary" isn't good enough if you aren't willing to say what it is you DO believe. You say you follow the same teachings as Rood does and you defend him against ANY criticism no matter how minor, so clear it up for us. What DOES he (and you) now believe WRT those points?
But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises.
For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another. But God found fault with the people and said:
The days are coming, declares the Lord,
when I will make a new covenant
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
It will not be like the covenant
I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,
because they did not remain faithful to my covenant,
and I turned away from them,
declares the Lord.
This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel
after that time, declares the Lord.
I will put my laws in their minds
and write them on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, Know the Lord,
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest.
For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.
By calling this covenant new, he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear. (Hebrews 8:6-13)
Mark, you have some catching up to do.
Maybe so, but right now, I am internet challenged. Since moving to a new house, it might take them 2 weeks to install my internet. It's a different provider, but they offered us 50 mbs, for 6 dollars a month more than we were paying for 10, so it's a blessing in disguise. Not bad for 60 bucks a month. I will get back to doing some serious Freeping, when we get online again. Right now, I am sitting in an internet cafe, surrounded by kids, playing games. Later.
