Each day I wonder how many heresies this guy can promulgate and each day he illustrates more heresies. How long before he adds a minaret to St. Peter’s Basilica? Will he rename a major church for St Ali? or St. Fatima? St. Henry VIII?

It’s not a “denomination”. It’s the Church; and It’s head is Jesus Christ.

This is nothing new for him. He’s just putting it on the books now.

John Paul II spoke of the ecumenism of the martyrs and Francis speaks of the ecumenism of blood, as if the Church teaches that non-Catholics who are killed for virtuous reasons are certainly and immediately saved. This is not the case. As the Council of Florence teaches "Saint" JPII....like I said, nothing new.

If you think saints is an absolutely univocal term, in all languages, all places, and all centuries, then you must be one of those people who say that the Constitution calls for the government to give out WELFARE. After all, its mentioned in the Preamble and in the general welfare clause. Well, there's a leap of (il)logic if ever I saw one.
If you were familiar with the use of the word *saint* as found in Scripture, you would know that the word is used for all believers living here on earth now, not some special class of supposedly holier than everyone else Christian.
James tells us that being respecters of persons is a sin.
Why does the Catholic church promote it?

For the first time EVER, Protestants will be able to get into heaven! Hate to bust your bubble....but anyone who has faith in Jesus is going to Heaven.

Too late, Jesus already done this.

It was a joke.
Monomaniacs can rarely detect humor.
