Elizabeth’s praise of Mary as “the mother of my Lord” can be viewed as the earliest Church’s devotion to Mary.

To read this as the church's earliest devotion to Mary is eisegesis....reading something into the text that's not there.

. There is no admonition to have any devotion to Mary in this text.
