You have a point. That's true in a sense. Baptism cannot be revoked. Therefore they are apostate, heretical, schismatic Catholics.

They are not, however, in ecclesiastical communion. In secular vocabulary, they are not "Catholics in good standing" and cannot licitly call themselves a Catholic Church. Wish we have that word trademark-protected!

Apparently they can and do refer to themselves as catholic. It’s just a new catholic denomination.
