I see your line of reasonings moving toward seventh-day sabbatarianism, and I have not particular interest in getting into this with you. One problem with it is that most of this kind of fixation on holy days leads to works-oriented doctrines, with the outcome being that it undercuts eternal security or removes it, giving the candidate for salvation no security except in his own works.

Your post here seems to have the flavor of judging the value of my relationship to the Lord. This is not a topic for testing genuineness of a person's relationship to God or to the Bible. I know most of the arguments, but am not willing to cite them to anybody who hasn't asked for more information rather than just trolling for a tiff. If that's what you want, look elsewhere.

Colossians 2:13-17 AV:
"And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh,
hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was
contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly,
triumphing over them in it.
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday,
or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days
Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

==========

My grandfather was a dairy farmer, and if you had brought up any issue about working on the/a Sabbath, he might have chased you around with a pitchfork for your impertinence in this matter. My Dad, brought up on that farm, a Methodist all his life, and an ordained minister from 1938 til his death in 2001 would have taken you down to the woodshed on this matter. For myself, I am neither a 1st-day nor a 7th-day Sabbatarian, and I'm not going to argue about it.

So you get to have your say but do not wish to give me time for a rebuttal. I see.
Col. 2 has nothing to do with the Sabbath. So that's a red herring. An ordained Methodist taking someone to the woodshed over Scriptural differences impresses me not.
God has ordained that six days are common and the seventh is set aside special. Then when you (and the others) chime in we worship on all of seven days. But that is NOT what God commanded you to do. When all days are special then none of the days are special. Human reasoning might tell you that you are seven times more holy than the Sabbatarian but that is not what the Bible will tell you.
Peace be to you

Collosians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days.

Sun(god) Day worshipers refer to this verse as an excuse to break Gods immutable Law. First there were additional sabbaths in the Old Testament and secondly man made additional rules for the Sabbath. These extra man made rules had no origin with Scripture but created a burden to the people. Instead of the Sabbath being a blessing and something looked forward to (communing with God), it was hoped nobody became sick or needed assistance on that day lest they be out of compliance. Which brings us to Mark 2:27 And He said unto them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath:
Jesus was not only validating the Sabbath but breaking down the barriers man had erected for vain purposes.
