***Somehow, they cannot bring themselves to believe the "saved" could suffer any harm! For some reason, an insidious false assumption has crept into the minds of millions of people, an assumption which says God would not think of allowing His saints to come to any physical harm! No, any such terrible event is reserved only for the wicked, so they think! What they do not realize is that such a false assumption makes them out to be better than Christ!*** I agree that this is a big reason why this doctrine is so popular, especially in America. American's are so pampered and removed from the suffering that goes on in most of the world that they believe God would never allow them to suffer, they believe we are the most pure country on Earth. Now having said that, I am grateful to God that I was fortunate to be born here. And I believe He gave us the greatest potential of any Nation to be a great Nation. But we "didn't keep it". The depravity that not only goes on here but that we have exported throughout the world is not going unnoticed by God. I have read and heard many times that America is not mentioned in the end times and it must be that most American's get "raptured." Read about the city of Babylon in Revelation again and see if that doesn't sound like modern day New York to you. The dollar still is the biggest currency in the world and the world's wealth is made on Wall Street you think the entire world wouldn't cry and wail at the loss of it? The MAJORITY of Christians on this Earth are suffering tribulation right now. Let that sink in. Most are in fear of their very lives. We are pompous and arrogant to think we are better than them. You've got 10 year olds who are refusing to deny Christ knowing they are fixing to get their heads chopped off if their lucky. Some of them are sawed off slowly. And people think they're gonna catch a ride out of here and miss all that. Some Pastors might even tell you that those kids faith wasn't strong enough or that wouldn't have happened to them. Those are the Pastor's who would deny Christ in a heartbeat while pissing their pants. God is no respector of persons. Remember that.

You have to learn HOW God addresses the nations as we know them, and that's by the "House of (name of ancestor)".
There are several good books on the subject, and booklets, if you'll only look.
Look for the United States under "Manasseh", and Great Britain under "Ephrim" ('A GREAT NATION' and 'A COMPANY OF NATIONS') .
