Depends on the definition of tradition.
Paul did not give blanket license to make things up and claim they were the truth by calling them *tradition*.
Jesus soundly condemned tradition whenever He spoke of it.
The Word of God has not changed in 2,000 years and the source documents can still be referenced.
MANY times I’ve asked for a list of the traditions that Paul allegedly gave that were not written down, how we can know for sure they came from him, how we can know that they were faithfully passed down for almost 2,000 years and have yet to get any kind of answer.
Notice that the modern mainline churches no longer refers to tradition. Tradition runs counter to the current push for acceptance of homosexual lifestyle, same sex marriage, transgenderism, abortion, etc. They now say Scripture speaks to each generation. That may be true but does not go against Scripture and tradition, IMO.
