Spruce up on the Hail Mary...We say Hail Mary, full of grace, the lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.....all from the bible....then was add a request......Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners....now, and at the hour of our death...

Yeah...it can be both....a prayer DIRECTLY from the Bible with a request that the subject of the prayer, Mary, pray for us.....you needed to pay mare attention in Catechism class.....sigh.
We are discussing Christianity....if we all agree that it is the true religion, then Catholicism becomes the true form....it existed from the beginning, not from a dissident priest 1,600 years later.

I was amazed at the Catholics I went to high school with. Most are involved in divorce, and birth control. I don't know how many are into abortions, but I suspect some of them are. Most lead grossly sinful lives. Kind of like me, before I dumped the RCC. Praise God for that. I know at least two of them were Hillary supporters, due to them being rabidly pro abortion. I still remember their names
I was also was amazed at how many are liberals too. I got into it with some of them, not because I dumped the RCC, but because of liberal political issues. I got no time for them. Maybe you should get off your holier than thou, sactimonious catholic high horse, and clean up the catholic house, before you condemn anyone else.

Help me out here...was first century Catholicism (technically NOT in the first century) the "true form" or the one that exists under that name today? Because they are definitely NOT the same. In fact, the word "catholic" (lower case c) wasn't even used for the first time until the early second century and it was talking about the universal faith of the Christian community made up of local assemblies whose members were part of the body of Christ, His bride.
Except the greeting of the angel Gabriel to Mary wasn't a "prayer". Maybe you needed to pay more attention to the Bible and less about what your catechism tells you.

Then I’m going to accuse Roman Catholicism of heresy, and make the case that the Roman church has had its lampstand removed, just as Jesus has said to churches before—see Revelation.
