The genesis of the anti-Jew hatred in the Middle East was from the Germans under Hitler. The Germans were in a struggle for the control against England and America of natural resources, principally through the Suez Canal (next to Palestine). They saw the Jews in Palestine and the Middle East as an obstacle. Playing on Arab nationalism, Hitler enlisted Haj Amin al-Husseini’s support for Axis propaganda services and to the recruitment of Muslim and Arab soldiers for the Nazi armed forces. The Nazis invented anti-Jew ideology for their propaganda effort in the Middle East.
Bottom line, we still have not defeated the toxic ideology of the Third Reich and the scholarship deficient Muslims are vulnerable to its appeal. We need the equivalent of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) bombarding these Muslim countries with enlightenment.

Hitler certainly used Middle Eastern antisemitism and allied with the Arab Nationalists, Muslim Brotherhood, and the Arab leaders in British Mandate Palestine to slaughter every Jew in the region. But this was far from the genesisi of antisemitism in the region. It goes back to Jews refusing to convert under the Hellenistic Syrians and then Romans. Islam created its own antisemitism. Medina was once called Yathrib and dominated by Jews. After Mohammed and his cult fled Mecca, they were given shelter in Yathrib, largely because many members of his clan were Jewish. When enough people converted to Islam, Mohammed waged war on the Pagans, Christians and Jews of Yathrib. Mohammed had a tummy ache, claimed he was poisoned, and proceeded to have every adult male member of a clan of Jews killed, took their wives as rape slaves, and their children for all purposes. Mohammed famously raped Rayhana bint Zayd while literally covered with her husbands blood.
