The Christian women’s blog Sheologians received a powerful testimony recently from an atheist who visited Planned Parenthood looking for adoption information.
That’s not what she got.
In her letter to Sheologians, she described how the abortion group repeatedly pressured her to abort her unborn child, ignored her desires to make an adoption plan and tried to manipulate her emotionally.
The Blaze reports Apologia Studios created a video of blogger Summer White reading the woman’s letter. The woman’s name is not used.
“I am a victim of rape, but I’m also a victim of feminism. I was lied to,” the woman wrote.
She said she was in college when she was raped by an acquaintance; and not long after that, she learned that she was pregnant.
“As a scared 19 year old student, I turned to the one place I’d been told my whole life I could turn to: Planned Parenthood,” she wrote.
Walking up to the clinic, she said she prepared herself for an attack of “the evil Christian radical, but instead I found people who just wanted to pray with me.”

Inside Planned Parenthood, she did not find what she was expecting either. Once the abortion center staff learned of her intentions to make an adoption plan, she said she was treated very differently.
She said a nurse repeatedly urged her to consider abortion, explaining how safe and empowering it would be. Later, the nurse told her that no one would want to adopt her child because of the rape. Eventually, she said the nurse left her alone in the counseling room for an hour, crying.
When she finally left, she said a pro-lifer on the sidewalk handed her a pamphlet about a local pregnancy center.
“Where I found real love and compassion was at the Christian pregnancy crisis center, they literally saved my life,” she continued.
She ended her letter by encouraging pro-life sidewalk counselors to keep helping women. She said they made such a difference in her life and her daughter’s.
“If you’re standing outside abortion clinics giving out pamphlets, and you’re not sure that it’s really worth it, know that it is,” she concluded.
Atheist are people who don't believe in God yet in this story a woman encountered the most godless among us. For that to happen can only be one thing, there is a God for people to be so lacking of Him. Wonder if she believes in God now?
Don’t know about that, but I bet she believes in evil.
There is no after life and no reincarnation so this is the only thing the little one will ever have. How can you take that away from them?
Actually pro-life is the human default setting. Ask any child what they think of killing babies and they will be horrified.
It takes a great deal of propaganda to make someone pro-dead baby.
It’s shocking that Planned Parenthood would bully a vulnerable woman in order to meet quota? Really?

Adoption doesn’t earn a profit for the blood ghouls.
Their master wants infant blood, and the years of torment of their mothers is a nice bonus and recruiting ground.

They think abortion is the ultimate "FU" to men, starting with the one who made them pregnant.
Have met several of these people and what impresses me about them is their intellectual honesty.
Reality is the child is human, individual and alive. This is not a religious issue anymore then slavery or freedom of speech is a religious issue.
Now the foundation of those rights can be a religious issue but once you agree those rights exist then they move into the area of secular law and reason.
I was wondering the same thing. Empowering?
GAD I hate that word- ‘empowering’!! What power do they seek except the power to kill? Why does everyone have to feel ‘empowered’, are they weak and powerless wimps about everything? Every day we each have power to do much-good and bad. Unless you are bound and gagged or a human vegetable you are NOT powerless. ‘Empowered’! Empty people seeking to fill their souls with a feeling of ‘power’ by ending life instead of giving it!
The left wants, loves and promotes abortion.

My most admired and beloved atheist pro-lifer, Nat Hentoff, passed away and went to his eternal reward last month.
I don’t mind saying of an atheist that he “went to his eternal reward”, because I do think Jesus meant it when He said, “Whatsoever you do to the least of my brethren, you do unto me.” So Hentoff declared Jesus (the unborn child) innocent and worthy of life, and spoke out to prevent His execution.
I also believe what Jesus said, “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy,” and “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they shall be satisfied.”
And “You judge by external appearances, but Almighty God sees the heart.”
Nat will not be without his reward.
