Are there any texts today that use this translation?

If we are not saved by faith in Christ and only Christ how else does one achieve salvation? See Ephesians 2:8-9.

There are scriptures that both defend and oppose sola fide.

Luther's argument would be that certain "works" books were not inspired or do not apply to the New Testament believer.

If we're honest, we must admit that the New Testament contains opposing views on sola fide.

I do not see a Christian's works contributing to his salvation. Salvation comes from Christ alone.

And yet we have the Catholic church, in their attempt to bolster their worship of Mary, change Scripture in Genesis to say of Mary that SHE would bruise the serpents head.

It doesn't seem like the Catholic church has much basis for complaining about others doing the same thing they do themselves.
