Whatever his good intentions may have been, he lead the rebellion against the western half of Christ's Body.

Who led the 'rebellion' against the EASTERN half?

And WHEN??

What rebellion against the Eastern half of Christianity are you referring to? Did they have a Luther, too?

I know the Orthodox and the Catholics have issues, but don't know what the issues are or why, just that they each believe they are different from each other.

I'm closer to the Protestants, and they don't seem to have much to say about the Orthodox, at least as near and as far as I can tell from what I've been exposed to so far, that is.

I try to stay away from family arguments, but, sooner or later in Christianity, there you are.

As near as I can tell, what started with One became two. I don't know why or when.

Then, one of those two also became two, thus making three.

From there, that new third, the part of the two that separated to become three, quickly and continuously has splintered into the big pile we have today.

Also as near as I can tell, I don't think any of this is what the same Jesus we all claim as Lord and Savior wanted us to do, nor does He want us to maintain our divisions now.

Not like that is going to stop anybody, right? Especially not in these times.

Fwiw, I've read about something that supposedly He has planned that might stop us, or will at least give us pause, but until then, we'll likely keep on doing what we're doing failing this test.
