” All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. “

Rather ironic considering our discussion of Judas. Jesus didn’t cast him out. Judas left on his own, deceived by sin and Satan.

Was Judas ever saved in the first place? No, Jesus didn’t cast him out, but is there any indication that Judas ever really belonged to Jesus in a saving faith kind of way, as opposed to Judas being an opportunist and trying to ride on the coattails and hopefully getting an in in the kingdom.

Just because Jesus chose him to fulfill prophecy doesn’t mean he was saved.

God can and will use unbelievers if needed. He’s done it before and can do it again.

And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall lose none of all those He has given Me, but raise them up at the last day. For it is My Father’s will that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." (John 6:39,40)
