No, as in they got married.
I never was able to make sense of it but I used to know a guy who was really into this theory. It is usually a corollary to the "Jesus was not really God just a prophet" theory.

Got together? As in fornication? As in, Jesus, the Son of God, committed sin? Wow, that's a seriously blasphemous supposition. There's speculation that the wedding where Jesus turned water into wine was Jesus's own wedding. Otherwise, why would his mom be concerned that the wine had run out?
It was customary that young Jewish men marry, and one of a father's duties was to help his son find a wife and arrange the marriage. Mary and Joseph would have been thought lacking in their parental duties if they had not done this.
