In his homily at a morning Mass on February 13, Pope Francis said that in the absence of a true sense of brotherhood, conflicts can fester and lead to destruction.
The Pope spoke about how Cain allowed his resentments against Abel to grow until they led them to murder his brother. He said that in the same way, small complaints can grow and end up destroying the bond of brotherhood.
The Pope said that these small conflicts can be visible even among our episcopal colleagues. He urged the faithful to fight against them, to preserve the sense of brotherhood.
Pope: the lack of brotherhood leads to war and bloodshed (Vatican Radio)
conflicts can fester and lead to destruction.
1Co 11:19 But, of course, there must be divisions among you so that you who have God’s approval will be recognized!
So, what he is really doing is stumping for a Catholic Spring?
He's leading where the faithful already know that the path is away from Jesus Christ, and toward Karl Marx.
I can only see Bergoglio as the “Cain” and Cardinal Burke as the “Abel”.
Cardinal Burke is in the hierarchy, so perhaps to avoid conflict, his questions should be answered.
The more I read about Francis the more I worry and I know I need to pray.
But it is not expected to be answered by Bergoglio or Muller. If it does happen, it will by more formal heresy from Jorge by proxy. Bergoglio is the sneakiness pope in the history of the Catholic Church.
If it is done by proxy, what’s the point? Then it is not a solemn declaration on a matter of Faith and Morals intended to be binding on all the Faithful.
Francis defaced St. Peter’s Basillica with a U.N. light show on the Feast Day of Our Lady’s Immaculate Conception.
If he addresses the dubia on marriage, as expected, tomorrow, on the Feast Day of St Valentine, I can’t see it as being innocent coincidence anymore.
This guy was elected by the cardinals. Why are Catholic laity complaining? you’re not Protestants who believe the laity should have a voice
Precisely because he's a heretic.
but he’s the pope, and Catholics are supposed to follow the pope. what do you call a Christian who protests the pope? A Protestant
Catholics follow Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Pope is supposed to as well.
Not blindly.
It almost reads like a veiled threat against Burke. Maybe there is some George Soros money in play here?
A protestant is someone who adheres to Martin Luther’s 93 theses.
A Pope speaks from the Chair of Peter, ex cathedra. He is to be well regarded for defending Doctrine and Dogma, from the Chair, as his words are proven already and re-enforce what is already known.
You are in error to imply fascitiously or seriously that the faithful are too stupid to recognize heresy when they hear it or will recognize it and will nevertheless follow like lemmings. Surely, you jest.
This Pope has done nothing ex cathedra and his controversial mouthings are just that— his personal babblings of opinion.
We have nothing to fear. Bergoglio is no match for the Holy Spirit. We are observers of a catastrophe it causes to the ignorant and foolish, the poorly catechized, for sure, but the Church is God’s own kingdom on earth.
Why do you think the Enemy wants her and mocks her so? There are wolves among the shepherds. The Devil recognizes where God resides and knows His voice. As was Israel, the new Israel, the Church, will be made small also, and surrounded by wolves and mockers, inside and out. Her name is Holy Mother Church, and she is and forever will be Catholic.
