That may seem radical, but it is all over in the New Testament. Did not Christ teach us to pray: Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Matthew 18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
Matthew 7: 11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Matthew 5: 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
There are many more statements by Jesus Christ, where He refers to God as our Father, too. If you truly believe the Bible to be the word of God, perhaps you should think about these specific words that Jesus said.
What did Adam do?
The very thing the Lord wanted him to do; and I hate to hear anybody call it a sin, for it wasnt a sin.
......
The Fall was a purposeful step in Gods plan of salvation.
1. For our agency to function, it was necessary that Satan be allowed to tempt us (see D&C 29:3940).
2. Adams fall gave him and his posterity the opportunity to obtain the joy that comes from choosing good over evil (see 2 Nephi 2:2527; Moses 5:1011).
3. If Adam and Eve had not transgressed, they would have lived forever in innocence, without children, thereby frustrating Gods plan of salvation (see 2 Nephi 2:2224; Moses 5:1011).

SATAN: One of the spirit children of God. As a consequence of their rebellion Satan and his angels cannot have mortal bodies - hence cannot progress.
Neither does the Holy Spirit. Did He rebel; too???
You followers of Joseph Smith don’t appear to realize that the Father has a name....
“Who hath ascended up to the heaven, or descended? Who hath gathered the wind in his fists? Who hath bound the waters in a garment? Who hath established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?” Proverbs 30:4
Jesus Christ declared:
“I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.” John 5:43
Jesus Christ made these two statements during his prayer to the Father in John 17....
“I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world..............And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it...”. Vrss 6 and 26
Paul declared:
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.” Philippians 2:9,10
(If the Father literally has a knee, and does not have the name of Jesus, the he too will bow)
Hebrews 1:4 states:
“Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.”
So you see, the Son’s name was initially the Father’s.
And since God is NOT an image, but a Spirit (Jn 4:24), and invisible (Jn 1:18; Col 1:15; 1Jn 4:12), the chance that Joseph Smith saw two men, one being the Father, and one being the Son,......is zero.
