God allowed the last eight years of a diabolical regime to happen in our country and, indirectly, to the world because it was what it took to open our collective eyes to the truth.
The same thing is happening to the Catholic church and, in HIS time, will be cleansed of evil.

Yes. Read my comment to piusv. But if we are true Christians, we will be willing to suffer with Christ in this great purification in this “great tribulation” (Mt 24:21).
Just as Christ was crucified and buried 2000 years ago, and many disciples (Emmaus etc.) left Jerusalem, so too, the Body of Christ, the Church, will be crucified and buried and Satan will believe in his pride to have total victory over the Church as Satan believe 2000 years ago when Christ died. It will be more humiliating for Satan to believe that he has total victory and then to be crushed by the woman (Gen 3:15).
