My wife was not feeling at all well this morning as she accompanied me at a podiatrist's appointment at the V.A. When we got home her condition worsened. She could barely see, had a pounding headache and was very dizzy. So we drove to the emergency room of a close-by hospital, where they did numerous tests. She is in the midst of an ongoing stroke.
Please pray for her.
Awesome news.
Prayers continuing for Barbara!
Praise God!
praise God thx for the update
BTTT
We praise Thee o Lord and we adore Thee. Grant complete healing to Thy servant Barbara.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
Our prayers for your wife and for you. My wife has had a few strokes and our hospital is 65 miles away. During one of the occasions, I drove her to the hospital in 43 minutes and stopped for gas (3 mins). She was in the hospital in that “critical hour”. We are aging (She’s 77 and I’m 79)and are making plans to move closer to hospitals and family.
Hint: She doesn’t feel like cooking, or doing laundry, or
ironing, or loading the dishwasher.
Outstanding.
I agree that is going to be her big take-away from this. She probably has some medication to take now.
I have taken mine religiously, every single day since.
Just one thing, my doctor said at the time, I seemed to be taking aspirin too much. I was, too. I altered my habits bigtime as a result of my own stroke. I really cleaned up my lifestyle because of it, I do not drink now (at all) and I hardly now ever take aspirin or any substitutes. I am also now, not drinking a lot of soda.
Basically I am eating and drinking, like I should have been all along.
But to tell the truth, I feel the best I ever have.
Congratulations, I am glad things worked out well for you two.
May God continue to bless Barbara and you. You both remain in my prayers.
Thank you for the update, will send another prayer.
Prayers that she continues to improve. Once this acute phase is over, Rehab is critical to contined improvement. It can be done!
prayers again. full recovery. by his stripes we are healed.
