Then it is true. You were an ignorant Catholic, a product of poor catechesis, who did not know how to play word games to absolve yourself of the guilt of idolatry. Fortunately, there are some Catholics here are schooled in that art, and hope that you would join their company of deception.

Yea, I guess I was a pretty ignorant catholic, as were all the kids I went to catholic school with. We were at the mercy of equally ignorant priests and nuns.
I was scared to death, that God was going to zap me, so I asked a priest how to deal with it. He said just don't commit any mortal sins, and I would be OK. This did little to calm my spirit, because I enjoyed committing mortal sins. That's why I stopped going to communion.
Things are different now. I am no longer into idolatry. Life is better, but eternity is going to be even better than that. 👍

That sounds demonic.

A man convinced against his will is a man unconvinced still.

I've been watching these threads for a couple of years my FRiend and I am amazed.

The argumentative Catholic is bound and determined to beat you to a bloody pulp proving his yes is yes when you have already determined his yes is wrong.

Bid these guys via con Dios and move along
