No one knows the day nor the hour. Including Nora Roth.

She added: “Now is the time to seek God, while He may be found. Now is the time to repent. Today is the day to choose to receive Jesus Christ fully and to abide in Him.”

The time for that is all the time. It is true, the Lord could come for his church at any moment.

But it is also true that no one is guaranteed another day on Earth. Be right with God so you'll be ready, whether he comes for His church or your life ends.

I agree that is the most important takeaway from all of these predictions...

True, but we are to recognize the seasons. And she did not really pick a day nor hour.

I’ve kinda thought about “around” 2017 for a couple of decades because of the “This generation shall not pass away until all these things take place” verse. Thing is, the bible makes it pretty clear that a generation is 70 years, and the begining of that 70 years is 1948 - when Israel became a nation and also took possession of the dead sea scrolls.

I wouldn’t bet the farm on it, but it is interesting. It causes me to notice things like the spat of major earthquakes we had a week or two ago. I don’t make a big deal about it because for me, EVERY day could be the day. I see every day as my first and last day. Each day is a brand new lifetime that the Lord has blessed me with. Hence my tag line.

The Lord can take any individual believer at any moment, but not the church, since Jesus told us (recorded in Matthew chapter 24) that Christ does not return, and the church is not gathered to him, until “Immediately after the tribulation of those days...”. So until the tribulation begins (and ends), there is no chance that the church is going to be taken away.
