Is that so? I've met at least two Catholics on here that have claimed the Church has never made an error and never will. That is what I'm basing that on.
I rather suspect that there were either some qualifications that you missed or some adult beverages involved in making the claim. I can imagine a drunk 19 year old making such a claim.
It might be worth asking what those charged with teaching on behalf of the Churh teach. I teach Catholic Theology at the undrgraduate level and do know a bit about the subject.
