Joseph Smith knew the Bible needed a whole series of new books added to it and you know the Bible needs several books removed from it, you and Joe, two peas in a pod.
Since you are responding to my #189; you've not gotten to this #194 yet.
Perhaps you can get back to me after you've read and thought about Dan's rely to your #137.
Those extra canonical books you seem so enamored with were NEVER given any authority by Jesus or His Apostles. Just because the Septuagint had some extra books in it doesn't mean they were automatically Divinely-inspired Scripture. To repeat, there were actually FIFTEEN of such books - none of which were ever in Hebrew to begin with. The Roman Catholic church included seven of these in their canon, why did they throw eight of them in the trash if that's what you think being in the LXX means???
Really?
I think I remember Joe saying something about visitations from heavenly beings; many times.
That sounds very similar to what many Catholics believe and rely upon.
