Praying for you and your family, Dear SoFloFreeper, in Jesus name.
I went through something very similar 5 years ago in So Fla, and i am not out of the woods yet, but the prayers of my Beloved fellow FReepers has done a lot to help sustain me.

Father God,
We thank You for Your Word, that is our mainstay in good times and bad.
We thank You for your abundant provision for us in all ways, natural and supernatural.
We praise Your Holy Name and all Your works of grace, mercy and beneficence.
Today we lift up to you SoFloFreeper and family for Your special attention.
Your Word says You have plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future.
May they experience Your peace through the mysterious outworking of Your plan, always heeding the promptings of the Holy Spirit and never giving up faith in You.
We pray especially for the student and the elder who depend upon this couple, that You would work within their hearts to help their understanding and cooperation with any new situation.
Bring opportunities, provision, Christian helpers and joy, we pray, O Bountiful Father,

In less than 24 hours, I have heard from all of you; some here on the thread, others by FREEPmail.
My heart is filled with gratitude to our Lord and Saviour for working through your prayers and concerns. Truly.
Not much to report yet, though I hope you’ll keep us in mind. We are working and praying and thinking and learning to lean. :)
Will keep you posted—but wanted to drop a line here just to say how grateful we are for the time you’re taking to lift us up to Heaven.

May God show you all the way, guide your steps, and protect you from harm, that all things will work together for good. AMEN!
My FRiends, today is December 7. For a month and a half we have been working and wondering and praying and planning and searching.
Tomorrow is a critical day, and I ask you to pray for us tomorrow...or tonight....or both.
The Reader’s Digest version of the last few weeks has been this: the boss has become increasingly unreasonable. The situation has removed so much joy from what was once a reasonable job. We have been responsible and trustworthy, and now we are being treated as traitors.
Either way, we are calling for a meeting with the company’s owners. We will be giving our notice, leaving in God’s hands whether they decide to ask us to stay on, seeing that a very worthwhile and caring employee has finally had enough of the abuse. We will be surprised if we are asked to stay.
Our family knows this may mean struggles. We gathered in our living room, held hands, and prayed for the coming storm. We believe He will be with us regardless of the circumstances.
At any rate, please pray. It may be that the boss repents and wants us to stay. Or, this may have been their end game all along—trying to get us to leave so that they can go their own way.
We covet your prayers during this time. We are meeting the boss at 1:00 pm tomorrow afternoon. Will update you.
