Psalm 55:9-11 Lord, confuse the wicked, confound their words, for I see violence and strife in the city. Day and night they prowl about on its walls; malice and abuse are within it. Destructive forces are at work in the city; threats and lies never leave its streets. Philippians 4:6-7 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Gracious God, We praise and thank you for your great love that provides our every need. Forgive our stubborn willfulness, when we choose our way rather than yours. Hold us close. We pray for Donald Trump and Mike Pence. Please continue to protect them physically, mentally and spiritually. -Be very real and present to them. -Lift and fill them with Your Spirit. Help them to stand in your strength. -Grant them wisdom of thought and speech so they will not stumble. -Give them peace in their spirits. We pray for the health of the niece Right-wing Librarian: allow this mother-to-be the ability to safely carry her pregnancy to term and deliver a healthy child. We are grateful that you fill our every need. And we thank and praise you for all that you do and all that you are. Praying through the strength and power of His Spirit given by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen
