That verse, repeated in the morning, works better for me than coffee. I don't know why, I've been told by loved ones in Christ it is not the same for them. I always get a burst of goosebumps and Holy Spirit power from:

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

I couldn't resist repeating your verse :)

I agree. What Paul does in this verse, is give the believer a clear picture of who he, in reality, now is....and how we got there. I need to remind myself that the sin filled old me is up on that cross too....and I need to be about the business of walking in the newness of the eternal life, which is actually now my possession. The flesh is and will always be a pain. But the real, new, me is IN Christ....and The Holy Spirit is in me....helping my walk.

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

I cannot read those verses without singing it in my head....
