Leaders of religious conservative groups largely stood behind Donald Trump on Saturday, the day after vulgar sexual comments he made about women surfaced online, but some expressed concern that the U.S. Republican presidential nominee's remarks could depress evangelical turnout on Election Day.
Most evangelical leaders did not condemn Trump, and instead pointed to an urgent need to prevent Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton from winning the presidency, reshaping the Supreme Court and implementing liberal policies.
The latest blow to Trump's campaign came after a 2005 video surfaced of the then-reality TV star talking on an open microphone about groping women and trying to seduce a married woman. Vice presidential running mate Mike Pence said he could not defend Trump's words....

Me too!
Good for them! Good people.
As EXACTLY what any non-GOPelite person would think.
The go-pe's have now revealed themselves to a lot of conservative voters and it will not be long before they are up for reelection.
DJT supporters are smart and have good memories, they will not be forgetting this major screw-up by RNC elites and inner circles.
.
Liberals are so crazy. Liberals are so outraged about all of this, when they were so calm about Clinton sex scandals. Liberals are so outraged that Trump hinted at sex with women who were not his wife, but in the case of the Clintons, we were told that its just sex don’t get so trumped up about mere sex.
If not for double standards liberals would have no standards at all.
Head pain or not, I’ll take 3 advil and CRAWL to the voting booth if I have to!!!
Never got my absentee in NY for injury.
Maybe cause I put Conservative down?
God showing us the wisest of men. It is shameful that the party has no one endorsing their group; the wise men: all being followers of the Lord, our God.
Got to admit that there’s a touch of hilarity there when religious leaders are willing to say “hold your nose and vote”.... then mentioned the Supreme Court and implementing liberal policies but my guess is that many of them know about Hillary’s spiritual beliefs and know that the only word that describes here is pure evil. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAdf1Lut2T4
Are you not well?
I’ve had problems when I was a voter in NYC even though I was a registered Democrat voter (so that I could vote in primaries for the more conservative candidate - which generally meant Ed Koch). Now I vote in NJ as a Republican and it’s even worse! I loathe this state. Truly loathe it like I’ve never loathed NYS.
When the serial rapist, Clinton, was in office and in the midst of his scandals involving sexual impropriety, all we kept hearing is how what a man does in his personal life does not affect his ability to be president or run the nation.
And that stuff happened WHILE he was in office, not 11 years before.
And now, Jesus Himself wouldn’t be good enough for the MSM.
If it wasn’t an issue then for Clinton, it’s not an issue now for Trump.
No we can’t!
Go Trump!
Franklin Graham made a HUGE STATEMENT STILLING BACKING TRUMP
Those who are coming our against him were against him at the beginning. As for what he said (while not the nicest comments), they should read some of the books about Hillary and her language. She talks worse than he does. The Clinton Slime Machine is at it again. (See “Guilty as Sin” by Edward Klein).
Imagine that: Christians offering forgiveness and staying focused on what is the real goal in the election.
I hope Trump’s heart is changed.
I do know that he’ll be a better leader for the economy, Supreme Court appointees and the place of America in the world than Hitlery.
Good for the evangelicals. Join them, Roman Catholics, Orthodox, and Jewish voters—we have a place at the table in politics. Let’s put someone in who won’t sell out Israel, give nukes to Iran, put pro-infanticide judges on SCOTUS, and who thinks money EARNED should be money KEPT.
old stupid comments from Trump are making the weak run out — not good old boys at all (just two-faced) Ryan, McCain, Chafetz, more? you do not have much in the way of staying power. it takes a woman to stand by her man. no wonder we can’t get back in the white house!
old head injury. But some days hard to get out.
Didn’t want to take the chance.
I’M VOTING either way.
Now that i work on staten island instead of NYC, i can take or leave NY.
HAve three sisters in NJ :) middletown, hazlet, and somewhere off 117A of the Garden State :) Actually, all three live off of 117 or A
Please explain your bastardized “english” statement. Too many “ings” in it to make sense. Proofreading can be very helpful.
And on the subject of Franklin Graham’s statement; Where can I see Graham’s statement and read it for myself?
Thank you.
