(Yesterday, there was a list of Star Trek actors decrying Mr. Trump. Thankfully, there seemed to be only one (George Takei, which is no surprise) from The Original Series. Shatner was NOT among them, but since he is Canadian anyway, it’s not his business. )
Father God, we thank You for calling us to be Yours. Help us to minister to those who do not know You. Lead us to witness to those distracted by the bread and circuses. Increase the Light in us, that we may be beacons to the lost. Position us to serve You. Shape us to extend Your love.
Father God, just as you lead us to be Your servants, please install leadership in this nation that desires to serve You. As a nation, may we give up our wickedness, repent and seek to serve You. If it is Your will, may there be an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon this land. Without You, we are nothing.
