Ping to some good news finally coming from a university.
Could anyone with a NY ping list please ping their list for anyone in the area who might be interested?
Just a note.
The website is WorshiptheKing.org.
This is NOT connected in any way to Worship the King.com. If you try the .com address, it will not get you anywhere.
For some reason, the list of campus ministries did not print the way I expected.
This is a joint effort of the following 15 campus ministries on SU.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes
Evangelical Christian Ministries
Roman Catholic Association
Historically Black Church
Young Life College
Brothers and Sisters in Christ (BASIC)
Adventist Christian Fellowship
Baptist Campus Ministries
Bible Study Ministries
The Vineyard
Lutheran Campus Ministries
Mustard Seed Fellowship
Orthodox Christian Fellowship
Syracuse Cru
United Methodist Ecumenical Campus Ministry
But now to see this, and actual Christian courage and leadership at the University, is very encouraging. Praise be to God. And may their example shine throughout the land. There is a madness going on in this country, a demonic madness. And we must fight it. Pray for the chancellor, and for this event.

Could we be seeing a city known for it’s wickedness actually starting to repent ?
(2 Chronicles 7:14) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
(Luke 4:17) And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
(Luke 4:18) The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
(Luke 4:19) To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
I’m hoping they are uniting for the right reasons.
I’m just weary of the whole Ecumenical approach that many are taking these days such as the World Council of Churches and World Vision (who has been busted siphoning money to Hamas.
Just an update.
The Worship the King event at the Carrier Come went beautifully. They are hoping to make this a yearly event and are planning on holding Worship the King worship sessions every Sunday night during the school year at Hendrick’s Chapel, the campus chapel.
