Mary is considered important enough and influential enough to intercede on our behalf to the Lord God....that's it...
she's important...
she was chosen...
God does not make mistakes...
And yet, not one of the NT writers ever included anything along those lines regarding Mary.
Rarely do I hear catholics refer to the intercession of the Holy Spirit and Jesus as being more than sufficient for us.
Catholicism gives the impression through its actions and writings that mary is somehow more influential than the Holy Spirit and/or Christ Himself.
God does not make mistakes...
Agree....however, people do. And the worship of Mary is a doozy.
Too bad.The Book that Rome assembled states I can go DIRECTLY to GOD myself!
1. We are commanded to pray to Jesus: Jn 14:14; James 1:1-7; 1 Cor 1:2; Eph 5:19; Acts 8:22 2. We have apostolic examples of praying to Jesus: Rev 22:20, 2 Cor 12:7-9, Acts 7:54-60; Acts 8:24 3. We have necessary inferences of pray to Jesus: 1 Jn 5:11-15, Acts 1:24; Heb 7:25
she's important...
she was chosen...
God does not make mistakes...
Rahab was considered important enough to be in the lineage of our Lord. ...that's it... she was a prostitute... she was chosen... God does not make mistakes...
